Review Process

SAMPE Receives your Abstract
  • SAMPE receives abstract application and abstract via the abstract submission form and acknowledges them.
  • The committee reviews each submission and determines whether or not to include it in the conference program.
When completing the review, the reviewers use the following criteria:

How well does the abstract relate to the conference and at least one of the identified focus areas
  • The abstract is the basis for this review.
  • The abstract should offer a unique perspective or application that adds value for an attendee.

Did you address the following areas completely and thoroughly?
  • Learning outcomes are clearly identified.
  • The abstract demonstrates application of the content.
  • Abstract title matches the content of the abstract.
  • Abstract is free of commercialism.
  • The abstract, description, and learning outcomes will be used in the selection review process.
The review committee will look at any available feedback on the presenter from past SAMPE sessions and may use the references to confirm the presenter’s ability to deliver the presentation in a professional manner.

Other areas of selection criteria by the Technical Program Committee include:
  • Alignment to topic and areas of focus
  • Originality
  • Technical content, value and relevance
  • Overlap with other sessions
  • Balance with overall conference
Submission of the abstract and paper does NOT guarantee acceptance as a speaker at the conference.
We will provide feedback to all applicants.
