Expectations for Authors

If your abstract is approved, authors are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Submit your complete and final paper by the requested due date. Your paper must meet published specifications and guidelines. You will be required to have your paper reviewed and approved by a session chair and a technical program committee member before you are invited to submit a presentation.
  • Refrain from any direct marketing of products, services, software, or other commercial ventures in the technical sessions.
  • Make no changes to content of the paper or presentation after the paper has been accepted.
  • The primary speaker will receive a 35% discount off of conference registration. All presenters will be responsible for paying for their conference registration fee. Speakers are required to register by the published deadline. Co-presenters must register for the conference.
  • Open papers will be published on the conference proceedings. You will be required to sign a copyright and clearance release form and submit it to the conference organizer.
  • ITAR papers will be published on an ITAR Only CD. You will be required to sign a copyright and clearance release form and submit it to the conference organizer.
  • Open paper authors only: Submit your complete and final PowerPoint presentation to your session chair by the requested due date. Your presentation may not include any direct marketing of products, services, software, or other commercial ventures.
  • Attend the speaker orientation meeting. Speaker meetings will take place at 7:00 AM on the day of your presentation. Coffee and bagels will be provided. 
  • Abide by the strict 25 minute time limit for giving your presentation.
